Multiple reports and studies have indicated a rise in mental health concerns amongst students in recent years. From depression and anxiety, to stress and loneliness. Coupled with wellbeing concerns related to cost of living, food security, and more, universities are seeking to put better support and structures in place in service of student wellbeing.
Join us for a fireside chat between Sunny Gill, Student Communications Manager at the University of Birmingham, and Tracy Playle, founder of ContentEd, as we explore the role that empathy, compassion, and experience and content design plays in supporting student wellbeing.
About Sundip "Sunny" Gill

She is a champion of UoB’s Student Communications Framework, fostering collaborations with key stakeholders to ensure the student voice is at the heart of all central and local student communication channels. A key part of this has been setting up and co-managing a group of ‘Student Content Shapers’ to create relatable, informative, and authentic content for social media to help current students through their uni years.
