Embracing play and the magic of make believe to enhance your coaching

“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”

When our lives are structured to have us believe that play and work cannot co-exist, we lose access to the magic of curiosity that we are all born with and that we allow with such ease in our childhood. But so many of us put our sense of play and the spirit of make believe away in the toy box, and throw it on the pile for the garage sale as we move on and “grow up”.

But to play is to be human. Our drive for play - which is also our natural curiosity - never actually goes away. It just sometimes needs to be reignited and experienced in a new way that serves us as adults.

In this session, CEO, consultant and coach, Tracy Playle, will explore the role that play and playfulness bring to our work as leaders and as coaches. We take a look at our own relationship to play, notice our own growth edges, and explore ways that we can bring the magic of play and make believe into our work as curious coaches creating a world of possibility.
